JTW offers professional portable bandsaw milling services using industry-leading sawmills, including the Wood-Mizer LT50 and Lucas Mill Dedicated Slabber. Whether you're a homeowner, woodworker, or contractor, we’re here to help you turn your logs into high-quality lumber. Both our sawmills can be transported throughout the South-West of WA.
Our Equipment
Wood-Mizer LT50 Hydraulic Portable Bandsaw
The LT50, our primary sawmill, is a heavy-duty portable bandsaw that’s known for its precision and saw-milling efficiency. Utilising hydraulic log loading and positioning, the LT50 can process up to 1.5 cubic meters per hour. The Accuset 2 computer system allows the operator to cut custom sized boards, posts and live edge slabs. The LT50 arrives onsite fully assembled so minimal work is required before sawmilling can commence.

Max log diameter - 950mm
Max width of cut - 860mm

Lucas-Mill Dedicated Slabber
The Dedicated Slabber is specifically designed to cut extra large logs that cannot be transported to large capacity stationary sawmills. Large logs can weigh upwards of 4 tonne so sometimes the only option is to mill onsite where the log lays. The sawmill is assembled around the log and cuts live edge slabs to a desired thickness.
Set up/ pack up time - 60 minutes
Max log length - 6.1m
Max width of cut - 1.9m
Trailer length - 7m
Cost - $120 per hour
